A Few Words From Our CEO
As you will see in this edition of our newsletter, we are launching GSFCU Mobile Banking, including mobile deposits. While this App will serve in large part as your own personal “remote branch,” I wanted to specifically highlight how this service will complement our “CU $ucceed Teen Checking Account” for the students in your family.
By combining the power and accessibility of today’s Smartphones with our on–line financial literacy module “Checking 101,” your teen will get off on the right path towards financial responsibility. And, they will learn about money and banking first hand, like writing checks, making a debit purchase, withdrawing cash at an ATM and keeping track of their account activity on–line. What better way to teach your teen about financial management?
In addition your Teen can earn a cash incentive each semester by presenting their report card reflecting a GPA of 3.0 or better, along with regular use of their Checking Account.
The GSFCU Mobile & Check Deposit App and “CU $ucceed Teen Checking” are two more examples of how GSFCU provides a full array of financial services for East County School employees and their family members.
I hope to “C U” soon,
